Rates / Payment & Medical Aids

The practice rates are aligned with medical aid rates and will be submitted directly on behalf of the client at the relevant medical aid rate.

Should you not belong to a Medical Aid, you will be consulted on a private tariff.

Sessions are 50 mins (therapeutic hour) and the rate is R1,200 per session.

The following payment options are available:
  • Cash/Credit Card/Zapper (directly after the appointment)
  • EFT (before the appointment) *see banking details below (POP to be emailed prior to the session).
Please make note of the following:
  • In all instances you are fully responsible for the payment of sessions should your medical aid not pay for any reason whatsoever.
  • It is the responsibility of the client to check the availability of benefits prior to the commencement of treatment.
  • Please note the private tariff will be reviewed and amended in January of each year.
  • Please note medical aids do not cover appointments not kept or late cancellations. Appointments must be re-scheduled 24hrs in advance to avoid charges.
  • Payment of an overdue account is subject to the Prescribed Rate of Interest Act for all accounts and charges that are not paid within a 30-day period. If I am compelled to employ the services of an attorney/debt collection agency all costs associated with the recovery of the debt will be for your account.

All sessions are private and confidential. As per the HPCSA Ethical Code of Conduct, the only time confidentiality may be broken is in the event that a client admits they plan to harm themselves or someone else, or in the event that I am subpoenaed by a court of law. The topic of confidentiality and disclosure will be discussed with both the parents and adolescent prior to commencing therapy
